I’ve been carrying the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S III for about a week. In that short time, I’ve found its endurance to be on the high side of average, for an Android smartphone. It’s done better than my LTE Galaxy Nexus -everything does, after all- but doesn’t quite live up to the performance of AT&T’s HTC One X I tested a few weeks back. No matter how well or poorly a smartphone does on the old endurance test, though, everyone seems to agree that you can never have enough power. There’s the usual array of software tips and tricks that allow users to save juice on any smartphone, but the Galaxy S III also offers a few unique tweaking opportunities all its own.
